"Natural Bridge", Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

Bryce Canyon does have some natural bridges amongst the hoodoos, and this one next to the rim was caught in the late morning light.  The light powdery snow provides some additional lighting to help fill in the shadows in the darker areas.  Through the archway of the natural bridge, Ponderosa pines may be seen in the distance.  The sedimentary rock at the bridge is more reddish in tone, due to the higher concentration of red iron oxides at this stratification level.
